Celebrating the unique contribution of the Korean-American immigrant community to the American patchwork of creativity and diversity, THE KOREAN-AMERICAN SPIRIT offers an overview of the obstacles experienced by first-generation Korean immigrants. This film shows how they have found success in their new home, raising their Korean-American children amid the pressures to assimilate, yet preserve Korean culture, and how they pursue their many dreams and ambitions in the country they have learned to love.
