KABABAYAN ("countrymen") uncovers the depth and richness of this proud community in the Tri-State area. As one of the fastest growing Asian American communities in America, Filipino-Americans have contributed much: the bravery of their soldiers who fought under the American flag during WWII, the beautiful dishes of their cuisine, glorious art and literature, dedicated men and womem in the healthcare industry, and their devotion to the Catholic religion.
